Sugu  Promoted as the Captain of BTCC

Sugunan, our vice-captain for 2010 has been promoted as the captain for 2011 season. Sugunan is an extra-ordinary All-Rounder who leads the BTCC batting list in both total score (434 run) and strike rate (132%). Sugunan holds the record for the highest BTCC score (69 not-out). He has also taken 32 wickets in his career with BTCC and ranks the second highest wicket taker. Although Sugu started in the second year of BTCC he had played the most matches among any club member. He has served as acting captain in the absence of  the captain last year and led the team to win the Tri State championship. We hope his leadership qualities will bring BTCC a successful 2011. We wish him all the best.

 

Bawan Appointed as the Vice-Captain of BTCC

 

Bawan is another All-Rounder who had uplifted BTCC whenever needed, has been appointed as vice captain for 2011. He had won 6 individual awards for his out standing performance in various tournaments, which is the highest among the any BTCC players. He is the first half century scorer in the BTCC history.  He holds the best batting average (18.89) among the our players. He had claimed 31 wickets to rank as the 3rd highest wicket taker and holds the record for the highest wicket taken in a match along with 3 other BTCC members. He have also served as the wicket keeper for numerous occasions when we needed one and impressed every one with his ultra fast stumping. Good Luck to him.

Sage-Niru Appointed to lead the Reds Team

Both Sage and Niru have been active members of BTCC since inception contributing to our success in many ways. They have been appointed to lead the Reds team against New Jersey in the forth coming encounter. We congratulate them on their appointment and wish them all success.
